Notes from the Choir Loft - November 01, 2020

November is generally a month that we give thanks for family, friends, life, food and health, just to name a few.

What do you have to be grateful for?

One of the things I’m grateful for is you, the people of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Thank you to everyone who has made contributions to our music ministry fund. These contributions have allowed us to welcome Robyn King (clarinet) and Danielle Shaub (flute) in October. November will welcome Alicia Tremmel (violin) and Robyn will be back also.

I would like to send my grateful thanks to Pat Hoffman for giving of her time to add piano solos and piano/organ duets to our worship.

Thanks goes to our chime ensemble and bell choir for their help in assisting with worship music.

Since I’m on a roll with thanks…Anne Fahrner for editing, prepping, and second recordings of our online worship. Carl Fahrner for manning the main video recording in the front. To Lei Fahrner for making sure our website is updated with the video link and bulletin.

Thanks to you who have volunteered to assist with worship during this foreign time in our world and most of all you who worship with us either in-person or join us online.

I wish you a most blessed, thankful Thanksgiving and a peace filled Advent season.

Ed Hauck
